Another accident occurred in which a teenage Tik Tokker crashed and died while trying to take a selfie for posting on SNS.

According to foreign media such as the Daily Mail, a 14-year-old girl named Moe Sanai, who works as a Tik Toker, slipped and fell while taking a photo for posting on SNS with her friend at Shinwa Falls in Faung Village, Monju, Myanmar on the 22nd (local time).

She was a local TikTok star in Myanmar with 150,000 followers.

Local media reported that the girl, who had fallen, was caught between two large rocks, was unable to escape alone because of the large amount of water and the high flow rate.

Rescue teams arrived, but the girl had already died.

The situation at the scene was poor, so the body could not be taken out of the cracks of the rock until the next day.

The friend who fell with him was rescued with only minor injuries shortly after the accident.

Witnesses tried to rescue the two by saying, "They slipped on a wet rock while posing for a photo." But they couldn't get it out," he said.

Shinwa Falls is a popular tourist destination in Monju, Myanmar, and tens of thousands of tourists visit in summer.

Earlier, a well-known travelling influencer from India also fell into a gorge and died while taking photos for posting on social media.

On the 16th, travel influencer Anbi Kamdar (27, female) slipped and crashed while filming content to be posted on Instagram at Kumbe Falls, about 120 kilometers from Mumbai, with six friends.

The rescue team managed to pull her up and take her to the hospital, but she finally died.
