A woman who was washed away while playing in the water at a beach in Japan was rescued in 36 hours.

According to NHK and other local media, a Chinese woman in her 20s was found on the morning of the 10th after floating to the sea while playing in the water with a friend at Honshu Shizuoka Prefecture Beach in Honshu, Japan on the night of the 8th.

In 36 hours, he was rescued from the sea about 80 kilometers away from where he disappeared.

The woman was found by a crew member of a cargo ship who was floating on a tube and passing by at the time.

Upon receiving a call from the cargo ship, the Korea Coast Guard dispatched a coast guard helicopter and transported the woman to the hospital.

The woman showed symptoms of dehydration, but she was conscious and was not in a life-threatening condition.

After being rescued, the woman said "About half an hour after I started swimming, I realized I was being swept away and I desperately tried to go back, but I couldn't."

At that time, strong winds of 10 meters per hour were blowing in the nearby sea, and police and the coast guard estimated that they were swept away by currents and winds.
