I was shocked that a Russian woman who lost her passport was registered to marry an Egyptian man without realizing it.

According to local media such as Life Russia, A, a 24-year-old single mother living in St. Petersburg, Russia, reported it to the police after losing her passport in the summer of 2021.

She didn't need a passport because she didn't have to go abroad, so she didn't apply for a new passport.

Meanwhile, I visited the government office to register the birth of a recently born baby and heard an unexpected sound.

It was that I had to come with my husband.

When she said she had never been married, the official explained that an Egyptian man named Mustafa Ahmed was listed as her husband.

A filed a lawsuit against the court to invalidate the marriage, saying, `Someone who has never known or seen him.'

An investigation found that a man named Mustafa reported his marriage in January 2022 with her passport, which she picked up because she wanted to live in Russia.

Since then, he has reportedly been staying in Russia after applying for a temporary residence permit at the immigration office using his marriage registration form.

In response, the court ruled that the marriage between the two was invalid. In addition, the police are reportedly investigating allegations of crimes against Mustafa.
