It is a hot topic for revealing the story of an American woman accidentally swallowing a 20cm long toothbrush while traveling abroad.

According to The Mirror and other foreign media, Amber Hunt, 38, of Youngstown, Ohio, had a terrible experience while visiting her in-laws in Croatia with her husband (41) and children (1 and 8 years old).

She brushed her teeth before going to bed, and while wiping the inside of her mouth, a 20-cm-long toothbrush slipped from her hand and went over to her neck.

Confused, she tried to pull out her toothbrush with her fingers, but went deeper every time she swallowed.

Eventually, she visited a hospital in Jacobek, Croatia with her husband and underwent an abdominal ultrasound.

The medics initially didn't believe there was a toothbrush in her stomach.

However, seeing the actual toothbrush on top of her, the medical staff started using an endoscopic camera and a string to pull it out.

The toothbrush that came through the neck in about 45 minutes was actually 20cm long and she was fortunately unscathed.

She is `happy to be alive and worried about using a toothbrush ever again"I'll brush my teeth slowly and make sure I don't slip in the future."

Netizens are saying "It's amazing. How does a toothbrush go over your neck?", "Try using an electric toothbrush", "Isn't it because you're playing around?" give a back reaction.
