According to Taiwanese media such as ET Today, a 54-year-old truck driver A was hit and killed by a car following him while parking his vehicle on the side of the road and urinating at around 9 a.m. on the 4th (local time).
According to the video of the rear black box in the truck, a white car ran quickly and hit A next to the truck.
It took less than 10 seconds for A to get out of the vehicle and have an accident.
The driver of the car is a 39-year-old woman, B, who seems to have hurriedly turned the steering wheel not to crash the parked truck.
As a result, the car squeezed between the truck and the structure next to the road and hit A next to the truck.
Upon receiving the report, the police and rescue team rushed A to the hospital, but eventually died.
Driver B, who was not injured, was negative after a breathalyzer test.
Accordingly, the police suspect that it was caused by drowsy driving or fatigue, and are investigating further.
