According to local media such as Bao Yeon-chi, the prosecution in the Punuean district of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, indicted a 47-year-old woman named Nguyen Thi Kieu on charges of "meddling" and a 55-year-old man named Tran Kuok Deng on charges of "underage and prostitution".
According to court records, Kieu met Deng, whom he had known for many years, and said, "'If your business is to thrive, you have to have sex with a maiden.'"
Then "You can have sex with your 14-year-old daughter who is your wife.", and demanded 100 million dong (about 5.4 million won). At the time, the daughter was hospitalized to treat chronic diabetes.
When Deng said she didn't have that kind of money, she called a few days later and lowered the price to 60 million dong, and Deng offered 30 million dong (about 1.62 million won).
In the end, she decided to receive 30 million dongs, but she took her daughter to a hotel twice and forced her to have sex.
She persuaded her daughter that "it is to pay for your chronic diabetes treatment."
The shocked daughter revealed this to her father, who was living alone after the divorce.
Upon receiving the report, the police arrested the two and launched an investigation. They have admitted to the crime and are facing trial.
