According to Indian media, including Hindustan News, a woman living in Banbulpura recently reported to the police that she was receiving death threats from her husband and in-laws.
She claimed that she was infected with HIV by her husband and was forced to have a miscarriage.
According to her statement, she married in June 2020 and gave birth the following year to give birth to a son.
I had to give birth at home without giving birth in the hospital due to the coercion of my husband and in-laws.
However, the son died in three months due to his continued deterioration in health.
Since then, the woman has also been ill and visited a hospital for testing, but surprisingly, she was infected with HIV.
When I got home and announced it, my husband and in-laws did not react surprisingly, and in fact, my husband was infected before marriage.
The woman was shocked by this, but she couldn't bear to divorce, so she continued her marriage, but she became pregnant again in 2022.
However, she claimed that her in-laws were forced to give her an abortion by taking medication.
When he brought up the divorce, his in-laws constantly bullied him until the middle of this year, saying he had not received his marriage dowry. In the end, he even strangled himself in early July.
After barely escaping, she fled to her parents' house and reported it to the police with the help of her relatives.
The police are investigating the in-laws, saying the incident is serious.
