A man in Taiwan has filed for divorce for demanding money whenever his wife wants sex.

According to Hong Kong media South China Morning Post and Taiwanese media SETN TV, the Taiwan Family Court accepted a divorce request from his wife Xuan (a pseudonym) filed by Hao's husband.

The couple married in 2014 and have two children.

Hao claimed that in 2017, the couple's relationship was limited to once a month and was completely rejected from 2019.

Not knowing the reason, he heard his wife tell his relatives that "My husband is too fat and incompetent" and learned the reason for the rejection of the marital relationship.

In response, the husband filed for divorce in 2021, but his wife dropped the suit and changed the property to her name because she promised to improve the relationship.

However, he said his wife continued to emotionally abuse him and began charging him $500 (about 20,000 won) whenever he wanted sex or conversation.

As a result, he said he had not talked to each other for two years until he filed for divorce again this year, and that he had only communicated through a messaging app.

The couple also tried marriage counseling without success.

The judge said that the couple's relationship is "cold and hard to fix."I accepted my husband's divorce claim on the grounds that "

However, the wife appealed to the high court saying she did not want a divorce, but it was rejected.
