Spinal anterior dislocation is a disease that causes pain by causing the upper vertebrae to move forward than the lower vertebrae due to instability of the vertebrae. In particular, the misaligned shape slides out and is sometimes called 'spine slip'.

According to the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, an average of 35,000 patients were treated for spinal anterior dislocation last year, and about 40,000 patients were treated for a month in August.

"Spine anterior dislocation is a degenerative disease often caused by aging, and symptoms may appear suddenly and severely due to external environmental factors. The reason why the number of patients increases a lot in the summer is that back pain may be worse than usual due to high-temperature and humid weather, excessive activities during the holiday season, long-distance driving, and various leisure sports.

In particular, instantaneous pressure and shock can be added to the waist while entering the water in a rigid state or enjoying amusement facilities such as surfing in a water park before playing in the summer. At this time, depending on the individual's physical condition, back pain as well as spine distortion or dislocation may occur more seriously than expected.

Director Pi Yong-hoon emphasized, `If you usually felt your back was weak, don't endure it unconditionally if your back pain persists after playing in the water or going on vacation, and check it through an accurate examination at a specialized hospital.'

Spondylolisthesis causes severe pain when the waist is tilted, and pain occurs between the waist and the hip when walking or standing for a long time. In severe cases, it is not good to delay treatment because walking can be difficult and can lead to paralysis of the lower extremities.

The treatment of spinal anterior dislocation is divided into four stages, and non-surgical and surgical treatments are performed depending on the degree to which the vertebrae are pushed out. In the early cases of steps 1 and 2, the vertebrae do not deviate significantly from the normal category, so it may be improved with life correction or rehabilitation exercise. In stages 3 and 4, severe pain may be accompanied by dislocated vertebrae and may cause problems such as paralysis of the lower body, so rapid surgical treatment may be required.

The surgical treatment method for spinal anterior dislocation is an fusion technique that correctly and stably fixes the dislocated spine. Spinal fusion is a surgical method that gives stability to unstable vertebrae by inserting and fixing artificial bones while looking at a microscope after skin incision. In particular, by minimizing skin incision with minimally invasive techniques, muscle and skin damage can be reduced and rapid recovery can be expected.
