Bundang Cha Women's Hospital will hold a symposium on prenatal genetic counseling on the 1st of next month

Cha Medical University Bundang Cha Women's Hospital (Director Kim Young-tak) will hold the '2024 Prenatal Genetic Counseling Symposium' at Pangyo Cha Bio Complex Grand Auditorium from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 1.

Bundang Cha Women's Hospital holds an annual 'Prenatal Genetic Counseling Symposium' to examine the nature of prenatal genetic counseling and find solutions as interest in genetic/rare diseases increases in the field of prenatal diagnosis with the rapid development of dielectric tests. At this symposium, you can exchange the latest knowledge on the current status, limitations, and clinical cases of prenatal diagnostic tests with genetic disease experts, from explaining the genetic terminology required for patient counseling.

In the first session, under the theme of 'Guidelines for Embryo and Fetal Genomics Test and Clinical Site', ▶ How far can the Embryo Genomics Test be? (Professor Yoo Eun-jung of Seoul Stationary Hospital) ▶ How far will the NIPT results go? Consultation Tip on outcome abnormalities (Professor Han Yoo-jung of obstetrics and gynecology at Gangnam Cha Hospital) ▶ How far can a prenatal invasive test be diagnosed? A lecture by Professor Ryu Hyun-mi of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bundang Cha Women's Hospital will be held.
