China Six people were killed and 10 injured when the thunderstorm struck the observatory

According to Chinese media, including China News.COM, about 16 people were buried in the structure when the observatory pavilion at Pangmao Park in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province collapsed due to lightning at 8:36 p.m. on the 11th.
Fire and rescue teams rescued victims at around 11 p.m. and rushed them to hospitals, but six of them died early the next day and 10 are being treated.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident and whether it is under poor construction.
In addition, a comprehensive inspection of related public facilities will be launched.
