Com2us, all students deliver donations to Sangdong High School in Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do, which is a baseball wife

Com2uS announced on the 27th that it has delivered donations to Sangdong High School in Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do, to contribute to fostering youth baseball talent.

At the '2024 KBO All-Star Game' event held in early July, Com2uS hosted the 'Compya Zone Most Home Run Award' game in which baseball supplies were donated in the name of the winner. As a result of the game, LG Austin and Hanwha Peraza were awarded, and they decided to sponsor domestic amateur baseball in the name of the two players.

In response, Com2us selected two high school baseball teams as beneficiaries in consultation with the KBO secretariat and delivered donations to the baseball team of Sangdong High School in Yeongwol-gun, following Geumnam High School in Hadong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. The donation was made by adding additional donations from the company to the existing funding in the name of the winner and will be used to support the operation of baseball team players along with the purchase of various equipment needed for training.

The baseball team of Sangdong High School was established in August last year. It was a school with a history of more than 70 years, but it was on the verge of closing because there were only three students in the whole school, but the school alumni and local residents gathered their will to set up a baseball team, and about 30 students, including first and second graders, are currently active in the baseball team. In May this year, he won his first historic victory at the Golden Lion, a national competition, and is consistently making progress in weekend league games.

In particular, Choi Myung-seo, the governor of Yeongwol County, and Han Seung-yong, the principal of Sangdong High School, who is in charge of the operation of the baseball team, said that local governments and local communities are working together to switch to the world's first specialized high school specializing in baseball.

Meanwhile, Com2uS said it is practicing the values of social enterprises through global environmental protection activities involving its global game users and executives and employees, supporting talent development in sports and culture and arts, and various volunteer activities for local communities and underprivileged people.
