'Cruel' Husband Tied to Wife's Line and Dragged to Motorcycle, Why?

According to local media India Today and Jagran News, a video of a woman being dragged by her husband on a motorcycle with her legs tied to a rope was recently released in Nagaur, Rajasthan, India. The cruel crime was reportedly committed last month.
At the time, the woman was taken away shouting for help after being beaten, villagers said.
Her husband, Premaram Megwal, 32, was arrested by police on the 12th (local time) after a netizen reported watching the video.
A police investigation found that when his wife constantly demanded to go see his sister, his husband opposed it and dragged her behind a motorcycle.
Also, an alcoholic and a pseudoaneurist, he has usually assaulted his wife, preventing her from talking to anyone in town.
The wife, who is currently staying at a relative's house, is recovering from her injury and has told the police about the damage.
The police will arrest her husband and put him on trial after further investigation.
