Daedong Hospital (Hospital Director Lee Kwang-jae) announced that it operated "2024 Patient Safety and Infection Control Week" for five days from July 29 to contribute to the health of the community as a hospital that takes the lead in patient safety and infection control.
Organized by the Appropriate Management Committee and the Infection Control Committee, the event is held every year to promote safety awareness and contribute to the creation of a safe hospital environment by informing visitors, including employees, patients, and guardians of the importance of patient safety and infection control.
Starting with the declaration ceremony of Patient Safety and Infection Control Week, ▲ Patient Safety and Infection Control Grand Rounding ▲ Patient Safety Campaign ▲ Patient Safety Guard Award ▲ Patient Safety Accident Reporting Improvement Activities Exhibition ▲ Infectious Disease Response Training ▲ QI Interim Report.
Especially the 4th cycle certification standard, ring the golden bell! The program received a great response. The Golden Bell, held for the purpose of strengthening employees' awareness of patient safety and infection control, and preparing for the upcoming 4th cycle medical institution certification evaluation, was presented through OX, multiple-choice, and short answer questions, focusing on medical institution certification criteria.
As a result of the fierce competition of more than 50 employees to make the Golden Bell ring, the Golden Bell of honor was won by the lead nurse in ward 62.
Lee Kwang-jae, director of Daedong Hospital, said, `We would like to express our gratitude to the proper management room, infection control room, and all employees who are engaged in various activities for infection prevention activities while establishing a culture of patient safety. Patient safety and infection control are very important parts of medical institutions, and I hope this event will serve as an opportunity for all of us to pledge to create a safe medical institution once again.'
