A large painting commemorating the 75th anniversary of the series of cartoons 'Peanuts' represented by Charlie Brown and Snoopy was painted on corn fields in the United States and Canada.

According to the New York Post and other foreign media, more than 80 farms in the United States and Canada represented the painting by setting up a cornfield path to honor Charles M. Schultz, the creator of the cartoon 'Peanuts' and his timeless characters. October this year marks the 75th anniversary of the appearance of 'Peanuts' first serial cartoon.

The farms collaborated with Peanuts Worldwide, which owns the copyright of 'Peanuts', to create large works of 'Peanuts' theme.

In October 1950, when he was 27, Schultz published his first 'Peanuts' serialized cartoon in seven newspapers across the United States.

Popular characters from the 'Pinnuts' brand include Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and Peppermint Patty.

The "Peanuts" cartoon was popular enough to appear in more than 2,600 newspapers around the world until December 1999.

Schultz's daughter and actor Jill Schultz told The Associated Press that `I feel my father's legacy alive as I see farmers dedicate his father and his work to the ground.' He added that `I respect farmers for their hard work and dedication.'

The actual design production was done by Mates Inc.

The works divided into several pieces are 1.5 to 20 acres (about 1,900 to 24,500 pyeong), each designed specifically for the size and situation of the farm.

According to the Associated Press, the company has created a maze for presidential candidates, Oprah Winfrey and John Wayne in the past.

Meanwhile, the cartoon 'Peanuts' influence extended beyond newspapers to books, animated TV specials, theme parks, and Broadway musicals.

Schultz also won an Emmy Award for an animated TV special.

Schultz retired in January 2000 and died next month in Santa Rosa, California.
