'Epic7'Developer SuperCreative Holds Subculture Specialized Game Developers Conference 'Pixel 2024'

The event, which will be held for super creative executives and employees at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the 19th, is designed to share each other's skills and experiences and find new visions by participating in the core keywords of games, subculture, and 2D art.
SuperCreative explained that it has a vision to develop into the best subculture game developer by covering these three key keywords, setting 'pixel' as the event name, which is called 'DOT' in game development, as the minimum unit of image composition.
First of all, a total of 16 internal speakers, including CEO Kim Hyung-seok, CTO Choi Ho-joon, Development Director Han Yoo-jong, and Development Director Park Sung-jin, will participate in the presentation at Super Creative. In particular, CEO Kim Hyung-seok will tell various stories about the history of global subculture games and their potential for future development under the theme of 「The Meaning of Making Subculture Games in Korea」.
External speakers include Ryu Geum-tae, CEO of Studio Byside, who served as PD of 'Closer', Jeon Hyeong-gyu, CEO of Bunnybyte, who was in charge of Debcat TD, Kim Hyung-seop, AD of Control Nine, who was in charge of AD of 'Nike', and Yang Young-ki, team leader of Control Nine, who was in charge of writing the scenario of 'Seven Knights' and 'Blue Archive'.
SuperCreative said it plans to expand the size of the event further in the future to establish itself as a representative subculture game developer conference in Korea after completing the first pixel. CEO Kim Hyung-seok said "I had a concern to capture pixel-specific identities that were differentiated from other game conferences."We will continue to make investments to share the challenges facing the domestic game industry and become an event to learn and inspire for growth." he said.
