Ewha Medical Center conducts 365 Carbon Diet Campaign

Ewha Womans University Medical Center will conduct a '365 Carbon Diet Campaign' as part of ESG activities.
ESG is an acronym for each word of environment, social, and governance, and is a non-financial performance indicator that sustainable development is possible only when transparent management such as eco-friendliness, social responsibility management, and governance is considered.
Ewha Medical Center formed an ESG TFT in June and began its full-fledged activities. It has been decided to conduct a '365 Carbon Diet Campaign" aimed at reducing carbon emissions in daily life as a carbon neutral practice activity to address climate change and its negative effects caused by the accumulation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
To reduce carbon emissions in daily life ▲Use multi-use cups ▲Set indoor heating temperature ▲Reduce food leftovers ▲Delete e-mail ▲Use public transportation ▲Reduce paper use ▲Set power saving mode when using electronic devices ▲Practice green life (Building carbon neutral points) and promoted the floor.
Yoo Kyung-ha, head of Ewha Medical Center's medical center, said, `As companies and hospitals are increasingly interested in ESG activities, medical institutions have become interested in realizing social values in addition to the mission of medical care to save patients.'"If each faculty member's practice is added, it can lead to a major change."
