A former gymnastics national team member who fell during a selfie shoot, died six days later

Natalie Stichova (23), a former member of the Czech gymnastics national team, fell while taking a selfie and died six days after being hospitalized.

According to The Sun and other foreign media, Natalie fell 80 meters while filming near Neuschwanstein Castle on Mount Tegelberg in Bavaria, Germany, on the 15th (local time).

The friend who was with him at the time said, `I don't know if Natalie slipped suddenly or if a piece of the edge of the rock broke and fell off""An accident happened in an instant while posing for a selfie."," he said.

Natalie was seriously injured but survived and was quickly taken to hospital by helicopter.

However, he was unable to wake up due to severe brain damage and eventually passed away on the 21st.

Natalie's mother said "There is no one who did not love her. Our Natalie was the sweetest person."

Natalie was a Czech national gymnast and recently served as a coach for the junior team after her retirement.

Meanwhile, Neuschwanstein Castle is known as a place that inspired Disneyland 'Cinderella Castle', and is a famous tourist destination visited by more than 1.3 million people annually.
