A light plane crash-landed at a golf course in the U.S. and almost hit a golfer, drawing attention.

According to U.S. media such as Sky News and Fox News, a small plane crash-landed at the Haggin Oaks golf course in Sacramento, California, at around 1 p.m. on the 4th (local time). The plane skidded across the lawn and stopped in front of the club building.

The sliding plane passed by a golfer who was practicing putting, almost causing casualties.

The pilot was also reportedly not seriously injured. There was no fire, such as an explosion of the gas.

Sacramento Fire Captain Justin Sylvia "Everyone was lucky. It's full of cars in the parking lot, and there were highways and houses nearby, and they all avoided it." "The pilot is fortunate to have chosen a golf course that is in a pretty good position" he added.

Earlier, the pilot reportedly told the control tower that he suffered mechanical and engine failures about 400 feet above the ground.

The people who witnessed the accident were shocked.

"I heard a thump, but I didn't know what it was," one golfer said. "Later, an incredible scene was in front of me."

The golf course staff member "I was picking up the ball on the practice field when I heard the plane go over my head"Something really crazy has happened."

The accident is currently being investigated by Sacramento police and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
