A man in his 30s in China suffered a cerebral infarction while eating coke and fried peanuts every day.

According to Chinese media such as Jinning News and Sina News, Wang (38), who lives in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, collapsed on the night of the 18th when his limbs suddenly lost strength during overtime work.

My colleagues rushed me to the hospital, and the test showed that it was 'Acute cerebral infarction'.

The medical staff who performed the emergency procedure asked Wang about his usual eating habits.

"I drank about 600g of fried peanuts and two bottles of coke while watching TV every day," Wang said. "I usually enjoy greasy and salty food."

Medical staff pointed out that long-term intake of foods high in oil and sugar can increase blood lipid levels, threatening cardiovascular health and increasing the risk of cerebral infarction. He then advised not to consume large amounts of high-calorie foods for a long time.

Meanwhile, the most common cause of cerebral infarction is arteriosclerosis, which narrows blood vessels due to high blood pressure, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and old age. In addition, blood clots from the heart may move due to the aftereffects of arrhythmia, heart failure, and myocardial infarction, blocking blood vessels in the brain.

Symptoms of cerebral infarction vary depending on the area where it is blocked, but there are often cases where ▶ one limb is weak, numb, unable to speak, ▶ cannot understand what it means due to poor pronunciation, ▶ feeling severe dizziness, or being staggered or biased to one side like a drunk person when walking ▶ One side of the eye is not visible or seen as two. In severe cases, consciousness deteriorates and can not recover, or it can lead to death.
