A man who underwent vasectomy in Russia filed a lawsuit against the hospital when he became pregnant again.

According to Russian media including Marsh News and Right Time, Maxim, 45, who lives in the city of Upa in the Republic of Bashkir, underwent vasectomy in 2022 after giving birth to his fourth child.

He paid 30,000 rubles (about 450,000 won) at a local medical institution and underwent surgery.

However, early last year, Maxim's wife became pregnant again. He suspected that his wife might have cheated on him.

After giving birth in November, he went to the hospital where he had vasectomy when he was found to be his son through a paternity test.

He complained to the hospital while looking at his son's birth certificate and genetic test result sheet.

In response, the hospital offered to return the operating expenses.

However, Maksim is preparing a lawsuit, saying that the cost of support should also be compensated.
