A man in his 20s who was sleeping in Thailand walked out of the window and fell to death. It was because of my usual sleepwalking.

According to Thai media such as Channel 7 and Amarin TV, a 25-year-old man who lived in a factory dormitory in Pranakon-gu, Bangkok, fell from the fifth floor and died at around 5 a.m. on the 25th (local time).

Company employers and colleagues told police it was probably because of sleepwalking.

Colleagues said the man is a cheerful personality but has a habit of sleepwalking. The employer would always warn him to be careful.

One colleague once woke up in the bathroom on the first floor while sleeping on the fifth floorHe said "He didn't remember the situation at the time."

According to the investigation, there were no safety bars or insect screens in the window. When I looked at the condition of the body, there was no clue to suspect a murder.

In response, the police assumed that he woke up in his sleep and fell out of the open window while walking in the room.

On the other hand, 'Sleepwalking', known as sleepwalking, refers to an arousal disorder that exhibits abnormal behavior, such as waking up from bed and walking around during sleep.

Sometimes he does complex physical activities, sometimes saying things that are unintelligible or meaningless. They usually have their eyes open, but their eyes are fixed.

The exact cause of sleepwalking is not known. However, it is presumed that there is a genetic predisposition. It is also caused by fever, systemic disease, drinking, deprivation of sleep, and mental stress. Hormonal changes and some drugs that occur in adolescence, menstruation, and pregnancy can also cause sleepwalking.

There is no particular cure. It is recommended to sleep well and create a safe environment.
