According to the New York Post and KSL TV 5, Eric Nicholas Gapko (26) was on a flight from Seattle to Dallas on the 18th (local time) of last month and went on a rampage under the influence of drugs. Eventually, the aircraft made an emergency landing at Salt Lake City Airport in Utah, and he was arrested by waiting police.
According to police, he took off his clothes during the flight, screamed while smoking an e-cigarette, and offered sex to a female flight attendant.
He also allegedly tried to assault another flight attendant who was holding him back and attempted to open the emergency exit door several times.
In the video, he shouted "I'm sane" as the crew tried to calm down near the plane's bathroom.
Eventually, the crew tied his hands and feet, and the captain decided to make an emergency landing in Salt Lake City.
He admitted to police that he had taken illegal drugs, and drugs were also found in his belongings.
A police official said, `When he was arrested, he spat on police officers and broke down glass doors.'
He is currently in custody and is reportedly under joint investigation by the FBI and police.
