In Singapore, a revelation emerged that a tourist bus driver kicked Chinese tourists out of their vehicles who said they would not do so-called 'shopping tourism'.

According to local media Shin Min Daily and Hong Kong media South China Morning Post, a Singaporean tourist bus driver drove Chinese tourists to the streets on the 16th.

Earlier, the driver stopped by a store to buy souvenirs such as keychains and perfumes.

However, the driver's attitude changed suddenly when tourists did not purchase many souvenirs.

In response to a tourist's request to bring blood pressure medication from the bus after lunch, the driver responded "There is nothing to do for Chinese who don't spend money.", he refused.

He also closed the bus door before the passengers fully boarded.

The tourists demanded an apology from the driver, who refused and shouted to get off the bus.

The tourist who posted the video said "We knew that travel agencies could sell products, but we did not anticipate forced sales."

The tourist also added that the driver verbally abused them and was threatened by a tour guide when they tried to call the police.

When the tourists stood on the side of the road, the restaurant where they had lunch asked them to come back inside and provided free drinks and ice cream.

Later, another bus from the travel agency came and picked up the tourists.

The driver's colleague only sold the `small and inexpensive' items to the Shinmin Daily" he insisted.

"It happened because the driver often picked up the tourists' luggage, but he received very few tips," he explained on condition of anonymity.

Netizens are responding by saying, "Bus drivers may sell goods to tourists, but they should not be forced to buy them in a country where tourism is an important industry, and this behavior should not be allowed" and "Chinese tourists will have a bad feeling about Singapore.""

Tourists reportedly filed a complaint with the Chinese embassy in Singapore about the issue.
