Japanese media?? Yoshitaka, 40, and his wife Akiko, 65, finally married after seven years of dating, according to the South China Morning Post, an online and Hong Kong media outlet.
They first met at Akiko's restaurant in Saga Prefecture, Japan.
Yoshitaka, who was divorced at the time, fell in love with Akiko at first sight.
Who's Yoshitaka?? Speaking to her online, "I found out that both have experienced divorce, are raising children alone, and have similar interests."
The two fell in love and became lovers, but Akiko was always anxious about the relationship.
Akiko said she was 44 when they first met, but she thought Yoshitaka would leave if she knew her real age.
She maintained her appearance with her bright personality and steady skin. Yoshitaka believed that the age difference was not 15 years, but he was actually 25 years older.
However, Akiko allowed her boyfriend to know his real age naturally several times. She said "I even put my passport and insurance card on the table, hoping he would notice it."
But Yoshitaka ignored her 'hint', only to always tell her to clear the papers safely.
After seven years together they decided to get married and Akiko revealed her actual age to her boyfriend before the wedding.
Then Yoshitaka "Your actual age doesn't matter. The important thing is why did you live in worry for so long because you didn't tell me earlier?," he said, rather covering her up.
After getting married, the couple quit their job and traveled all over Japan by camper van.
Currently, they run an online air conditioning cleaning service store and share their daily stories on YouTube.
Akiko believes that Japanese society is still prejudiced against couples where women are much older than men.
"An older man can proudly show how young and beautiful his wife is, but a woman older than her husband often hesitates to disclose her relationship to others," she said. "True love is the most important thing. We must acknowledge and accept various forms of couples."
