Kakao Games will host the offline final of the PUBG Clan Cup 2024 (PUBG CLAN CUP 2024)', an integrated clan competition to commemorate the Clan 2.0 update of 'Kakao Battlegrounds' on the 31st.
This competition is the first Kakao/Steam integrated Clan Cup, designed to revitalize exchanges and collaboration PC rooms between clans. It is hosted by Kakao Games and Krafton, and is organized by e-sports platform Battlerica.
A total of 16 teams have advanced to the finals after the first and second online qualifiers, and the final winning team will be provided with a prize of 5 million won and a crude gaming monitor and clan emblem. In addition, the second and third places will be given 2.5 million won in prize money, 1.5 million won, and gaming mice, respectively, and other participating teams will be given prize money and in-game rewards according to their rankings.
The final round will be held at OzPC Cafe Reserve Gangnam Station, a collaboration PC room of Kakao Games. The run-off will be broadcast live online concurrently with the on-site run, and will be available on the 'Battlegrounds' YouTube channel and the official Afreeca TV station.
Meanwhile, Kakao Games will hold a LAN party event on the day of the finals to support the competition and exchange between the Clan, and hold various on-site events such as 「Partner Team Competition Event" and"PUBG Exam" for invited users to present Jowi Gaming Mouse and in-game coupons.
In addition, a match prediction event will be held for users until the 30th, and crude gaming gear will be provided through a lottery among users who got the final 1st to 3rd place clans. In addition, the event will be held for users who watch the live broadcast on the day of the final round, and various in-game rewards such as 'Serpent Garden Jacket' and 'Taego Survivor Mask' will be presented.
