NCsoft's 'Bufftun' to hold a 'Bufftun Original Contest' with the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency

NCsoft will hold the 'Bufftun Original Contest' with the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA) at 'BuffTOON'.
The period for accepting works of the "Bufftun Original Contest" is from September 26 to October 8. The winning work will be reviewed and finally announced on November 26. Bufftun is a service that provides webtoons, web novels, and NCsoft IP contents, and has been conducting a competition to discover content creators since 2018.
This year's contest is in the webtoon category. There are no restrictions on genre and theme, and it is characterized by the fact that not only new writers but also established webtoon writers can apply. There are five criteria for screening: novelty of subject and material, general popularity, attractiveness of characters, completeness of story and writing, and possibility of IP expansion. The screening will be attended by organizers and judges specializing in the content industry.
The winning work can expand its own contact points through NCsoft's Buffoon and Purple Lounge services. In addition, NCsoft said that the winning work receives various opportunities for IP expansion.
