The Gungneung Heritage Headquarters is a responsible management agency belonging to the National Heritage Administration responsible for the efficient preservation and management and utilization of Joseon's palaces, Jongmyo, Sajik, and royal tombs. Various cultural experience opportunities are provided to promote beautiful architecture in Korea.
Until September 4, visitors can compare the in-game appearance elaborately embodied in 'Morning Country: Seoul' with the actual building through the notification board installed at three locations in Gyeongbokgung Palace: Gwanghwamun, Geunjeongjeon, and Gyeonghoeru. When scanning the QR code of the notification board, you can see a comparative video of 'Morning Country: Seoul' produced in collaboration with the National Heritage Administration, and you can even check the actual reproduction of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Pearl Abyss said that it also detailed a miscellaneous store, which means the structure of the building.
Prior to this, Pearl Abyss released 'Morning Country: Seoul;' a follow-up content of 'Morning Country' on the 7th. In the past, the game captured the quiet scenery of Hanyang, the old appearance of Seoul, including Yukjo Street, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Bukhansan Mountain. Players can enjoy a vast amount of stories, including about 6,000 lines of dialogue, 40 cut scenes, and 8 folktales. The company added a new fun by adding new heads inspired by Korean folk tales and folktales, such as immortality and Uturi, according to the company.
Pearl Abyss signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the National Heritage Administration in 2022 to spread cultural heritage content through games. As a first work, the National Heritage Administration's original cultural heritage record data was supported to accurately express various props found in 'Morning Country: Seoul'.
