'Pokemon' Music in the Game, Meet the Orchestra

Pokémon Korea announced on the 19th that it will hold a performance of 'Pokémon the Orchestra: A Treasure Journey' to mark the Chuseok season this year.

A total of two performances will be held at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul for two days from September 21 to 22, with 7:30 p.m. on the 21st and 3 p.m. on the 22nd.

In particular, it features orchestral music arrangements of the latest Nintendo Switch software in the `Pokémon' series, which was released on November 18, 2022 and the representative soundtracks of this year's additional content 'Zero Vivo'.

In addition, it decorated the stage with various classical and modern band instruments to create a new feeling for each song, and introduced in-game videos on large LED screens to increase the sense of immersion in the game story, the company said.

Pokemon Korea continues to have a continuous relationship with Plagic, a Korean orchestra company, and this performance will also be co-organized with Plagic to present a high-quality stage.

The orchestra will be played by the Plagic Symphony Orchestra, which has worked together several times under the direction of conductor Jin-sol. Tickets for the show will open at 2 p.m. on the 19th and can be booked at the ticket link and the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. Additionally, customers who have purchased a Master Bowl VIP seat ticket from Ticketlink will be able to purchase a Pokémon Store 'Pokemon the Orchestra' Limited Badge Frame in advance.
