A wanted criminal who committed a murder 20 years ago has been arrested while working as a police officer and is shocking.

Antonio 'El Diablo'Riano, 72, who shot and killed a 25-year-old man in a bar in Hamilton, Ohio in December 2004, was arrested in Mexico City, Mexico, according to U.S. media such as Fox News and the New York Post.

Running away after the incident, he has been the highest-rated wanted man in the U.S. for the past 20 years. In 2005, the case was revealed in a broadcaster's "America's Most Wanted" program.

The Mexican national has been working as a police officer in Mexico City using a fake ID after fleeing.

Shortly after the incident, U.S. federal police found that he had used multiple pseudonyms and had also found counterfeit documents to obtain other identification cards in his home.

In 2018, federal police obtained information that he was in Mexico City and requested the Mexican government to extradite him for arrest.

After six years of cooperation from the Mexican government, police were able to catch him recently and bring him back to the United States.

Federal police will charge him with first-degree murder, escapism and forgery of identification.
