Professor Kwon Soon-yong of Seoul St. Mary's Hospital presents a smart medical roadmap published by 'meta-medical is coming'

Kwon Soon-yong, an orthopedic surgeon at Catholic University of Korea's Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, published 'meta-medicine is coming' with Dr. Kang Si-chul, an expert in high-tech.
The book explains the core concepts that form the basis of smart medical hospitals and presents specific roadmaps, while also contains a wealth of cases of each hospital. We also point out that artificial intelligence can accelerate changes in the medical field and pose new challenges to medical professionals. It acknowledges that artificial intelligence is not perfect, but it is generally beneficial and explains that the transition to a smart hospital is key to providing a pleasant and efficient medical environment for both patients and medical staff.
Professor Kwon said, `We are interested in smart medical care at the opportunity of a major shift toward the keyword that will innovate the future of medical care 'Meta Health', and we published a guide to help those who want to build smart hospitals reduce trial and error.'
He then emphasized the importance of smart healthcare, saying, "As we move toward the future smart healthcare era, it is time for experts from various fields, including healthcare experts, engineers, data scientists, and policymakers, to exercise their collective intelligence and work together to design and build future healthcare systems."
Meanwhile, Professor Kwon graduated from Catholic University School of Medicine, obtained a doctorate in orthopedic surgery at the same graduate school, served as the medical director of Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital and the director of St. Paul's Hospital, before serving as the first and second hospital director of Eunpyeong St. Mary's Hospital. He has been engaged in external activities such as the head of the medical support committee for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, the president of the Korean Senior Musculoskeletal Association, the honorary president of the Korean Digital Health Association, the honorary president of the Korean Medical 3D Printing Association, and the honorary ambassador for Jeongseon, Gangwon-do.
