Chairman of the Korea Racing Authority, Jeong Ki-hwan, accelerates communication activities to spread the culture of praise

The Korea Racing Authority has been operating an in-house anonymous bulletin board "SalangTalk" for three years where executives and employees can share their opinions anonymously and candidly on overall management such as organizational culture and working environment. 'Salang Tok Tok', in which the chairman and management write their own answers to posts that have achieved more than 100 consensus among executives and employees, is said to activate an atmosphere of free communication within the organization.
This year, careful functions such as the deadline for answering the management of 'SalangTalk' and the function of canceling empathy/disaffection were added, and the self-purification function was strengthened by operating a jury system to prevent misuse of anonymous bulletin boards. In the first seven months of this year, a total of 15 posts were directly answered by CEOs and management. This is a record that exceeded the total number of responses (9 cases) last year, proving that positive and active communication takes place.
Starting this year, if posts praising the department or person in charge of creating excellent results receive a lot of sympathy, Chairman Chung will hold a meeting to invite the praised protagonist himself. In April, Chairman Chung invited the main characters of a praise article 'Let's Run Park Seoul Cherry Blossom Festival. In this second meeting, the main characters of two posts, which achieved a total of 190 empathy, were invited. The two main characters of the compliment were the person in charge of the Ministry of Environment, which manages the raceway on a hot day and night basis for the stable implementation of the race, and the Broadcasting Planning Department, which informs the work and efforts of each department of the horse society through various contents.
