The sale of cemented fake garlic in India is shocking.

According to Indian media such as G-News and Hindustan News, a woman living in a village in Akola, Maharashtra, recently purchased garlic from a vendor who carried vegetables on a wheelbarrow.

Taking out some garlic to cook, she felt strange.

This was because it was not a typical garlic peel and it didn't smell.

It was only after raking off the skin that I noticed that I had been tricked. It was filled with cement, not garlic.

The exterior was painted white to resemble real garlic and even curved.

She went out to protest, but the merchant had already disappeared.

Local media warned that garlic prices are soaring as supply has recently decreased, and that they are exploiting this to make and sell fake garlic.

It was also estimated that the garlic was supplied to a market downtown.

Netizens are saying, "'It's great that you fake garlic as well.'" Scammers should be punished severely", Criticistic reactions such as "drinking toxic substances when cooked in soup for the first time" are being expressed.
