In the second half of 2024, 28th trainee Cha Seok-hye-yoon (S1, Suseong), 3rd place Lim Jae-yeon (S3, Dong Seoul), 4th place Min Seon-gi (S2, Sejong), 5th place Won Jun-oh (S2, Cheongju), and 13th place Park Geon-i (S3, Changwon Sangnam) succeeded in entering the special grade for the first time in their lives.

Seven players are playing in the special class, including Son Je-yong (S1, Suseong), the 28th senior graduate who entered the special class as the fastest special promotion out of the 28th class. Experts expect their quick addition to create a fresh wind in the second half of the year's special race.

Looking at the flow of the 28th players in the second half of the special class, Son Je-yong, who has been attracting attention since his training camp days as a water-based team like Lim Chae-bin (25th, SS), has been active in the special class since March and ranked 18th in the overall performance (based on the 30th Gwangmyeong), and has continued to rise like an `expecting stock' with three first and five second wins in the special class.

However, he is absent due to a fall injury on May 18, and his 200m record, which only the best players can record, is 10.97 seconds, and he is so good that he can run the last lap (333m) in 18:23, so if he recovers well and returns, he will naturally rejoin the ranks of the top special forces.

Next, Suk Hye-yoon, another rising star of Team Suseong, is currently 29th in overall performance with S1 class. On July 12, the first game since entering the special grade, he began to open the door by taking second place in Gwangmyeong as a good deed, followed by first place on August 3. Currently, it is showing a fast adaptation speed in the special class with one, two, two, and three.

Won Jun-oh, who is ranked 53rd in overall performance, is currently in the S3 class and held a reporting ceremony on July 7 in Gwangmyeong, taking third place in the previous tactics. Since then, he also ranked third with a good deed in the game on July 26, and took second place with a good deed the next day.

On the last day of the race for the Sports Dong-Abae on August 4, he participated in a general race and had a valuable experience, although he had seven medals with bold good deeds against special-class seniors. For the East Seoul team, dubbed the `Kyeongryeon 8th School District', he is expected to improve his skills by sweating along with top-ranked players such as Jeon Won-kyu (23rd, SS) and Shin Eun-seop (18th, SS).

Kim Joon-cheol, who is ranked 56th in overall performance, was evaluated as a trio of 28th players along with Son Je-yong and Seok Hye-yoon. Unfortunately, he graduated in eighth place due to injury when he was a candidate, but he recovered his skills and advanced to the special grade as expected.

He had a break for about a month due to a fall injury on June 8, but as soon as he returned on July 26 after his promotion in the second half of the year, he ranked second as a mark and third as a good player the next day. However, because he was still a rookie, he was disqualified for driving diagonally on the second day of the race for the last sports Dong-Abae. As he is called the successor of super specialist Yang Seung-won, it seems enough to continue the legacy of the hard-working Cheongju team in North Chungcheong Province if he adds his seasoned skills.

Min Seon-gi (28, S2, Sejong), who is ranked 57th overall, is also a rookie who deserves attention at the special selection level. In the first race of the special class on July 19, he finished third with the mark, followed by Jeong Jong-jin (20th, SS, Gimpo), one of the strongest racers in the race, in second place with the mark the next day. The disadvantage is that he does not have his own color yet and has a skinny body, but if he builds up his physical strength through training, he will be able to grow into a 'skillist' player.

Next, Lim Jae-yeon is a 33-year-old player who entered the race at a late age, but she overcame it and successfully entered the special class. On July 26, he won the prize with his teammate Kim Hee-joon (22nd, S1) in Gwangmyeong. However, the next day, he put his teammate Jeon Won-kyu (23rd, SS) on the line and started the game, but unfortunately, he was eliminated due to mutual contact. There is no significant difference in long-distance speeds between Jung Hae-min (22nd, S1) and Jeon Won-kyu (23rd, SS) of the East Seoul team, but short-distance speed is insufficient, so if it is reinforced, it is expected to be in the ambush ranks.

Finally, Park Gun-yi, ranked 120th, went head-to-head against Jung Jong-jin (20th, SS, Gimpo) on July 21st, but took 4th place. For Park Gun, it was a fresh match that had much more to learn than to lose. It seems that the special selection level is solving it according to the racing situation rather than unconditionally using the preceding tactics, but it seems that adaptation is needed for the time being.

"The athlete who entered the special class during the 28th period is likely to grow into a large athlete in terms of race record and race management as he inherits the rich experience of amateur and the skills of senior players in the team. "He is slowing down due to falls and disqualification, but he has a lot to show, so he will create a fresh wind at Gwangmyeong Speedom in the second half of the year," said Park Jung-woo, head of the Gyeongryun Winners.
