Deborah Rebecca Ci Artola (15), who was practicing dancing with three friends on the roof of a house in the town of La Tinta in Guatemala City on the 1st (local time), was killed by a high-voltage line, according to Guatemalan media including El Heraldo.
According to a video posted by a citizen on social media, smoke soared from the body of a girl whose neck was caught in a wire.
After a while, the head was cut off and fell to the ground six meters below. Residents who witnessed it screamed in horror.
Friends who were together were taking pictures while practicing dancing, but Artola said she was stuck when she was accidentally electrocuted by a high-voltage wire.
Police said they believe it was an accidental accident, saying, `As the girl touched the high-voltage line, thousands of volts of electric current flowed into the body and died immediately.'
The girl's parents recently posted a photo of their daughter in a pink dress on social media at their 15th birthday party, leaving a tribute saying 'I love you forever, my princess'.
