Luxury fashion brand Balenciaga recently launched a 'torn' stocking product.

The price was set at 1,150 pounds (about 2 million won).

British media Daily Mail reported that the perforated stockings are about 400 pounds (about 700,000 won) more expensive than the scratch-free products (725 pounds).

Made in Italy, the stockings are advertised on the brand's website as 'Technical Knit'.

Available in two colors, black and light beige, the stocking's legs have several holes and are torn apart as if they had been out.

Netizens are saying "Is the hole made out of craftsmanship?", "Is there anyone who pays for something like this?", "The world of fashion is a very difficult area to understand" and others.

Meanwhile, the stockings were worn by American pop star Katy Perry before their release.

Perry performed what he called a 'pantsless look' wearing ripped stockings at the Balenciaga 2024 runway show in Paris, France, in June.

At the time, Perry wore an oversized fur coat without a top and only wore perforated and torn stockings instead of pants or skirts.
