Uijeongbu Eulji Hospital Starts Operation of Integrated Nursing and Nursing Service Ward
Aug 01, 2024
Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital began operating an integrated nursing and nursing service ward from August 1. The size is 44 beds in total.
In the integrated nursing and nursing service, professional nursing personnel support patients' hospitalization 24 hours a day even if their guardians or caregivers do not stay with them. This service is considered to be an advantage in that it reduces the burden of patients' care expenses and promotes the stability of their caregivers' lives by applying health insurance.
Uijeongbu Eulji Hospital held an opening ceremony for the integrated nursing and nursing service ward in ward 111 of the hospital on the 31st of last month. The opening ceremony was held in the order of greetings, progress explanations, tape cutting ceremonies, and commemorative photos with related faculty members including Lee Seung-hoon, head of Uijeongbu Eulji Hospital, Yoon Byung-woo, head of Eulji Medical Center, Kim Yoon-kyung, head of the Eulji Foundation's operation division, and Park Young-woo, head of the nursing department.
Park Young-woo, Director of Nursing at Uijeongbu Eulji Hospital, said "We will provide convenient and comfortable inpatient services for patients and their guardians by operating an integrated nursing and nursing service ward."In September, we will do our best to expand the operating ward so that residents in northern Gyeonggi Province can receive better medical treatment."."
Lee Seung-hoon, head of Uijeongbu Eulji Hospital, said "By integrating nursing and nursing services into one, we expect that the quality of medical services will be improved by allowing professional nursing personnel to monitor the patient's condition 24 hours a day and respond immediately."We will continue to be a representative medical institution in northern Gyeonggi Province that provides the best medical environment for patients and their guardians to be satisfied in the future."
Meanwhile, Uijeongbu Eulji Hospital plans to add 44 beds in one ward of integrated nursing and nursing services in September to expand it to a total of 88 beds.
