WH Gaming, 'FC Online'-'FC Mobile's Global Top Competition 'FC Pro Champions Cup' First Win



Nexon announced on the 26th that Korea's WH Gaming won the competition in the global top competitions of 'FC Online' and 'FC Mobile'.

This competition was held at Chijong Forest Sports City Arena in Shanghai, China, Thailand, Vietnam, and Japan from the 19th to the 25th, with athletes representing five countries from 'FC Online' and 'FC Mobile' competing for the first championship and the largest prize money.

The final round of the 'FC Online', 'FC Mobile' competition, which took place on the 25th, was watched by 500 on-site audiences, and in the 'FC Online' competition, the Korean national team's WH Gaming and Thailand's Advice e-sports, which advanced to the final without defeat, met to hold the best-of-five match.




In the first set, WH Gaming Lee Won-joo lost 1-2 against Michael 04 of Advice e-Sports, but in the second set, Lee Sang-min scored with a mid-range shot just before the end of the second half to balance it. After that, in the third and fourth sets, WH Gaming and Advice e-Sports alternately exchanged battles, followed by 2 wins and 2 losses in the set score. In the last five sets, Jeong In-ho, who won in the third set, participated, and won by scoring five goals with overwhelming offensive soccer such as mid-range shots and fast pass plays, winning the final set score with 3 wins and 2 losses.

WH Gaming won $100,000 in prize money at the same time as it achieved its first win of the 'FC Professional Champions Cup', which was launched this year. Another Korean national team, KT Rolster and Guangdong Fricks, ranked 3-4th in the final standings and received $25,000 in prize money.
