Russia has warned residents of border areas not to use dating apps.

According to foreign media such as Daily Star, Russian President Vladimir Putin virtually banned the use of dating apps, saying information could be handed over to Ukraine.

In addition, the Russian Interior Ministry claimed that Ukraine was remotely accessing CCTV cameras to monitor people and obtain information.

In particular, citizens living in Kursk, Belgorot, and Bryatsk, who were attacked by Ukraine, emphasized caution.

An official from Russia's Ministry of Internal Affairs stated, "We should refrain from using online dating services. Ukraine is actively using it to gather information" he warned.

Popular Western dating apps such as Tinder and Bumble left Russia after it fully invaded Ukraine in February 2022.

Ukraine, however, is said to use other online services to steal operational secrets from Russian soldiers 'searching for women'.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces have crossed the border into Kursk, Russia since the 6th (local time).

Ukrainian forces control dozens of villages and are reportedly advancing into deeper areas of Kursk in many ways.

Ukrainian President Zelensky announced that he now controls more than 1250 square kilometers of Russian territory.

In a recent speech, President Zelensky said "The foremost task of our operations is to destroy Russia's war potential as much as possible and execute its maximum counteroffensive"This also includes creating a buffer zone on the territory of the invader through the Kursk operation."
