A horrible thing happened when a woman in her 50s was eaten by an alligator while bathing in a river in Indonesia.

According to local media such as Detik News, Halima Lahakbau (54), who was bathing in the South Buru Regency River on the Maluku Islands, Indonesia, on the morning of the 20th (local time), was attacked by a 4-meter-long crocodile.

A resident who was nearby said that the woman was washing herself after catching the clam, and suddenly a crocodile appeared and bit it and disappeared.

Police and villagers who received the report came out and searched the river and found a crocodile eating the body within hours.

Police fired a total of four shots to kill the crocodile, and when residents returned to the village with the crocodile and split the ship, a missing part of the woman's body came out.

The family and relatives held a funeral as part of the body.

Meanwhile, local media reported that crocodiles are appearing near the village as development has reduced habitat and food.

In addition, residents often bathe, wash, and wash dishes in the river due to poor living conditions, so they are often attacked by crocodiles, he said.
