A Chinese woman with two wombs succeeded in giving birth to twins in each womb.

It is known that the probability of becoming pregnant in both wombs is only one in a million.

According to Chinese media such as Sina Finance and NetEase News, a woman named 'Li', who lives in Xian City, Shaanxi Province, recently gave birth to twins by cesarean section.

What is surprising is the fact that she has two separate 'double uterus'. Among them, the uterus is a birth uterine malformation that 0.3% of all women have.

Women with double uterus are prone to complications such as recurrent miscarriage, premature birth, fetal growth restrictions, and postpartum bleeding after pregnancy, and the risk of uterine rupture and twisting is also significantly increased.

Lee found out that she was pregnant with twins during an initial ultrasound examination in January this year. One was pregnant in each uterus.

Previously, Lee was pregnant and experienced a miscarriage at 27 weeks for unknown reasons.

The obstetrician and gynecologist said "Women with two wombs are difficult to conceive, but their success in childbirth is almost slim."

Accordingly, the hospital specially managed Lee and performed a cesarean section on the 19th, the 37th week.

Boys were born healthy at 3.91kg and girls at 2.88kg. Lee and the newborns were discharged four days after giving birth.
