Since then, he has suffered constant pain and bleeding, and died of a heart attack 13 days after implant surgery.
According to the consent form for implant surgery obtained by local media, it was written as '23 tooth extraction and 12 transplants on the same day'. The implant surgery was performed six times at the top and bottom.
Hwang's daughter plans to take legal action, saying it is a clear medical accident at the dentist.
However, the dentist refuted the medical accident, saying that Hwang's death was "unknown." He also warned that he would be held legally responsible if he spread rumors by speculation.
City health officials are investigating the exact cause of death.
"The more teeth you pull out, the greater the patient's pain response and the higher the probability of infection after surgery," a dentist said. "There are no regulations, but generally more than 10 teeth can be extracted at a time. However, dentists must have certain qualifications and levels and take into account the patient's physical ability", he pointed out.
