A man who pulled out 23 teeth a day in China died of a heart attack, shocking.

According to Chinese media such as Nanyang News and the Sihwa Ilbo, on the 14th of last month, Hwang, who lives in Yongkang City, Zhejiang Province, underwent implant surgery to extract 23 teeth and transplant 12 teeth at a dental hospital.

Since then, he has suffered constant pain and bleeding, and died of a heart attack 13 days after implant surgery.

According to the consent form for implant surgery obtained by local media, it was written as '23 tooth extraction and 12 transplants on the same day'. The implant surgery was performed six times at the top and bottom.

Hwang's daughter plans to take legal action, saying it is a clear medical accident at the dentist.

However, the dentist refuted the medical accident, saying that Hwang's death was "unknown." He also warned that he would be held legally responsible if he spread rumors by speculation.

City health officials are investigating the exact cause of death.

"The more teeth you pull out, the greater the patient's pain response and the higher the probability of infection after surgery," a dentist said. "There are no regulations, but generally more than 10 teeth can be extracted at a time. However, dentists must have certain qualifications and levels and take into account the patient's physical ability", he pointed out.

In addition, "The incisors can be extracted and transplanted on the same day, but in the case of molar teeth, a recovery period of 3 to 4 months is required" he added.

Meanwhile, the dentist who conducted implant surgery is known to have five years of treatment experience and is still working.
