Barunseang Hospital, 'Patient Safety and Infection Control Prevention' Performance Data for Weekly Events

Barunseang Hospital (Hospital Director Seo Dong-won) held a weekly event for three days from the 2nd to the "2024 Patient Safety and Infection Prevention Management Day". Prior to the event, medical staff and staff at Barunseang Hospital held an oath ceremony for hospital safety along with a proclamation ceremony to improve the importance and awareness of patient safety and infection prevention.
The event was designed and held to inform hospital staff, patients, and visitors of the hospital through various programs such as correct hand hygiene experiences, easy-to-miss infection prevention rules O/X quizzes, exhibitions of award-winning works of the "2024 Campaign Poster Contest", and taking pictures of pledges.
Under the supervision of hospital director Seo Dong-won and infection control committee director Cha Myung-hoon, education was conducted to prevent infectious diseases by guiding employees and visitors on patient safety and infection prevention rules, and directly checking germs on hands and guiding proper hand hygiene methods through a viewbox installed at the entrance of the main building.
In addition, the award-winning works of the '2024 Campaign Poster Contest', which expressed the importance of patient safety and infection control prevention, attracted attention, reflected on the rules for preventing infections that are easy to overlook through various experience activities and quizzes, and had time to announce the importance of a hospital environment safe from infection.
Seo Dong-won, director of Barunseang Hospital, said "I hope this weekly event will serve as an opportunity for employees as well as all visitors to Barunseang Hospital to be interested in patient safety and infection control prevention activities, and to create a safe hospital environment and establish a patient safety culture.
