The Korea Maritime Youth Federation (President Kim Kyung-bae, CEO of HMM Co., Ltd.) will hold the 「National University Dragon Boat Competition" in Jeongseojin, Gyeongin Ara Waterway, from September 28 to 29, sponsored by Jae.
The competition, which will be held for the first time in the country for college students, will consist of 12-seater dragon boats (Open, Women), 22-seater mixed, and extra competition, six-seater dragon boats, and Seoul National University, Yonsei University of Education, Hongik University, Sejong University, Dong-A University, Silla University, Jeonnam University, Hanseo University, and Asia Airlines School will participate in the event to see a cool dragon boat race that will blow away the heat.
An official from the Korea Maritime Youth Association said, "This event will not only be a sports event, but also provide valuable opportunities for university students across the country to interact and make new connections across the region and schools. In particular, it will create a healthy and vibrant university culture such as promoting health, strengthening teamwork, and fostering leadership. Based on the values of youth, harmony, passion, and spirit, it will become a new university cultural content that will be held at the award ceremony." he said.
The competition is jointly hosted and organized by the Korea Maritime Youth Federation and the Korean Dragon Boat Association, and is sponsored by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and (re) Sea Medical Products.
