Bucheon Sejong Hospital Designated 'Hospitalized Emergency Medical Center'

Bucheon Sejong Hospital was recently designated as an emergency medical center in the base area in 2024 by the Ministry of Health and Welfare on the 25th.
The designation of an emergency medical center in the base area aims to efficiently distribute severe emergency patients and quickly provide final treatment.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare has designated 14 out of 136 regional emergency medical centers nationwide, including Bucheon Sejong Hospital, as emergency medical centers in the base area after evaluating the composition of human resources and medical capabilities of general hospitals or higher (more than 300 beds).
Medical institutions designated as emergency medical centers in the base area will receive emergency medical fees equivalent to those of regional emergency medical centers for severe emergency patients treated during the operation period.
Bucheon Sejong Hospital is the only heart hospital in Korea. In order to increase the ability to respond to severe emergency patients, a national cardiovascular center (including emergency medical centers) treatment cooperation system 'Sejong Cardiovascular Network (SJ-CCN)' has been established and operated.
