'Busan IndieConnect Festival 2024', On-Offline Festival Compensation

The Busan Metropolitan Government, the Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency, and the Busan IndiConnect Festival Organizing Committee (BIC Organizing Committee) announced that 'Busan IndiConnect Festival 2024(BIC Festival 2024)' ended with an online festival that ended on the 30th of last month.
The BIC 2024 online festival was held from August 9 to 30 through the BIC official website and the BIC Festival Steam Sale page. The festival recorded 925,747 views in a total of 154 countries, and active communication between online festival visitors and developers was achieved through 7516 game downloads and 931 game reviews, the organizing committee said.
During this period, an online exhibition of selected works was held, and at the same time, a review of the BIC Festival 2024 Award work was conducted on the official YouTube channel 'UNIVERSE-INDIE'.
As a result, the BIC Festival 2024, which marks its 10th anniversary this year, received great reviews both online and offline, the organizing committee said. A BIC Organizing Committee official said, `The BIC Festival 2024 was a place to look back and commemorate the past 10 years of efforts to keep the original intention of an event for indie game developers and users, and to think about the next 10 years for indie game developers and users.'
