A bear attacked a trainer during a circus performance.

According to foreign media such as the New York Post, Sergei Prichinich, a Russian circus trainer, almost lost his life while performing live with a female brown bear named 'Donut'.

At the end of the performance of riding on an electric board and performing tricks, the bear attacked Sergei, such as rushing to the ground and laying him on the floor.

The bear weighing more than 220 kg climbed on top of the trainer and tried to bite. The audience was shocked when the dizzying situation unfolded.

Later, when another circus worker outside the cage began stabbing with a long stick, the bear released the attack and regained stability.

Sergei, a trainer, continued the performance again and kissed the bear and walked down the stage together.

`Animal bears can behave differently, they may not like something, and they also express their emotions in this way,' the circus leader said. `There is no problem with trainers.'

Meanwhile, the Russian House of Representatives (National Duma) proposed a bill to ban the use of circus animals last year, and a vote is expected to take place in October.
