Seo Kyung-duk, a professor at Sungshin Women's University, said, `I found out because of the informant, and when I checked it, I posted a map indicating Dokdo as 'conflicted area'.'
In response, Professor Seo immediately sent an e-mail to the embassy and protested, saying, "This map is only a forced claim by Japan, and this may lead to misunderstanding among Ukrainians, so delete it quickly."
In addition, he attached a video about Dokdo and emphasized that "Dokdo is a clear territory of the Republic of Korea in history, geography, and international law.'
In early September, Ukraine's ambassador to Japan paid tribute to Yasukuni shrine, where Class A war criminals from the Pacific War were enshrined, causing great controversy.
Professor Seo responded, "'As a diplomat of a country, first acquire basic qualifications and then make more efforts to properly grasp the history of Northeast Asia.'"
