A woman who was retaliating against the living noise of the household upstairs of the apartment building will pay nearly 4 million won in compensation.

A court in China's Zhejiang Province ruled that Wang, who complained of inter-floor noise and bullied generations upstairs excessively, should be compensated 19,600 yuan (about 3.7 million won).

According to Chinese media outlet Jiufai News and Hong Kong media outlet South China Morning Post, Wang, who lives on the first floor of an apartment building in Zhejiang Province, continued to protest Zhang, who lives on the second floor, citing floor noise.

In response to Wang's protest, Jang tried his best to reduce the noise by wearing slippers and putting carpets on the floor.

But Wang continued to complain about even the smallest noises, such as brushing teeth, bathing, and accidentally dropping the bottle cap.

They even demanded that people refrain from using the bathroom after 10 p.m.

Whenever she heard the noise of living, she tapped the ceiling of the house with a stick or made a loud noise with a speaker toward the upper house.

The police, who were dispatched to Jang's report, issued a warning to her and confiscated the speaker and cane, but the retaliation continued afterward.

Jang, who couldn't stand it, eventually moved. I rented the house to others, but the tenants also moved one after another because they couldn't handle her bullying.

In response, Jang filed a 33,000 yuan (about 6.2 million won) compensation lawsuit against her.

Wang, who appeared in court, initially protested that it was caused by the noise made by Jang, but the court pointed out that it was an extreme and inappropriate response.

He then ordered Jang to compensate for 17,600 yuan in expenses and 2,000 yuan in mental suffering. Wang objected to the ruling and appealed, but recently lost.

Netizens are saying, "Don't you want to build a house by yourself?", "Don't you think about the pain caused by your noise?", Post critical comments such as "I think I have a mental illness".
