Gachon University Gil Hospital 'Health Information Expressway' Participation'Health Record' App Check

Gachon University Gil Hospital (Hospital Director Kim Woo-kyung) announced on the 25th that it held an opening ceremony to commemorate the participation of medical data providers in the 'Health Information Highway Project' promoted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare (Min-hong Cho) and the Korea Health Information Service (Director Yeom Min-seop).

The 'Health Information Highway Project' is a medical mydata relay platform that provides patients' medical records held by various medical institutions in a standardized format so that patients can access themselves and safely transmits selected data to where they want it based on their own consent.

At the opening ceremony, hospital director Kim Woo-kyung received a signboard from Yeom Min-seop, head of the Korea Health and Medical Information Service, commemorating his participation in the health information highway medical data provider.

In addition, the two organizations operated a promotional booth in the lobby of the main building and informed patients and visitors how to use the health information highway through the 'My Health Record' app.

People who visited the promotional booth listened to the explanation of the health information highway and had time to install and use my health record app. In addition, through a survey, the experience of use was delivered to the Korea Health and Medical Information Service. The Korea Health and Medical Information Service will collect the survey results and reflect them in improving the user experience and improving functions of the health record app in the future.

The promotional booth has received great response from middle-aged people who are increasingly interested in health. Visitors to the promotional booth "As I get older, I often go to the hospital, and using my health record app, I think it will be very useful because I can easily check my medical records."It was well received.

Yeom Min-seop, head of the Korea Health and Medical Information Service, said, `We will be able to check our medical data at all senior hospitals nationwide next year through the continuous expansion of the project.' `We will make efforts to help each citizen practically practice preventive health care.'

Kim Woo-kyung, head of Gachon University Gil Hospital, explained that "Patients who have received medical treatment at Gil Hospital can inquire their medical records through the My Health Records app or share and transmit them to medical staff."
